A safe room in the house is a room that is hidden from the eyes of intruders or is simply impenetrable by them. A safe room is also known as a panic room. In case of emergency, when you think your safety is at stake, you can secretly enter into this room and lock yourself from the outside world. In the US, FEMA recommend building a safe room into every new home.
